BKM Sowan Horan LLP - New Appointment

BKM Sowan Horan, LLP announces the appointment of Karl Schwabauer as director of forensic and litigation services. Mr. Schwabauer joined BKM Sowan Horan June 6, 2011 and will be in charge of providing expert forensic accounting and litigation support services in matters involving fraudulent financial reporting, damages, business valuations, and diversions of assets.

In addition to being a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas, Mr. Schwabauer holds the Certified Valuation Analyst designation through the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysis and holds the Certified in Financial Forensics designation through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Schwabauer received a Master of Business Administration from California State University Dominguez Hills and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (currently University of Louisiana at Lafayette). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
